The Steam Engine Today
In today’s society, our main energy supply comes from the internal combustion engine, which is diesel and gas, and electricity. The steam engine, created during the Industrial Revolution has been largely replaced by these modern energy sources, nevertheless in some parts of the world, a few aged steam engines are still being used within old engine artifacts.

However, throughout the world, steam power is still heavily operated and applied within multiple functions. Some of these include nuclear power plants and many electrical power plants. These power stations use steam to create their energy. Many electrical power plants generate electricity through the use of the steam that is created by the process of burning coal, and nuclear power plants produce electricity through the use of the steam that is created after a nuclear fusion.
